Day 6:I feel like Washingtonians have a thing for being busy even if they are not. It’s like being busy gives them a sense of importance and accomplishment. Someone described it to me as a “self-inflicted business” – if you are not busy or at say you are busy then you are failing in life. But anyways, today was super amazing, I think it has something to do with the fact that I dressed up for it in this all red ensamble and black bomber jacket. Hahaha. I met my two professors – whom I know are definitely busy but made time for me out of their schedules – for lunch which was quite special. Then went for dinner with the whole group of colleagues at a Peruvian restaurant, the food was amazing!
